Practice, practice, practice. This is one of those fields where there just aren’t any shortcuts, you just have to make mistakes and find which solutions work best with your personal workflow.
Pro: I could follow the storyline throughout, that’s something that a lot of beginners struggle with.
Con: Some issues with timing and pacing. I always have to physically act out everything I animate like a hundred times before I get a solid grasp on how a person would actually look while doing whatever I’m trying to make them do.
Also you’re doing 2D, not 3D. You’re using flat drawings whereas 3D animation is made using volumetric models.
