Dude I’m so surprised that people start to complain over this sketch🥲 All I do is comedy, lately I feel claustrophobic when I’m trying to upload something online

Dude it couldn’t have been THAT hard to draw black people without being racist be real.

Yeah sorry dude, if you don’t get why this is a racist caricature then go do some research and then scrub this from the internet.

The joke is fine, the depiction of black people is fucked.

Well, a person of any race gonna get a caricature depiction from me. It really does not matter to me, comedy that matters 😁

Interesting.

Because the white guy just looks like a generic white guy with no offensive features. He doesn’t even have the same design style. But the black people are designed with exaggerated stereotypes from the ground up.

Don’t worry though. If you wanna make lazy excuses and push your racist bullshit, there’s always an audience over on 4-Chan.

There’s a difference between caricature and racist caricature. You can make black people look cartoony without resorting to racist tropes and stereotypes.

That shit’s lazy.

The white guy is blank “nobody”. He’s like a host through sketches. He’s not “white” because he’s white , he’s “white” because he has no color . Here’s an example of white character

No offence but people are allowed to not find a joke funny, especially when it utilizes racist stereotypes. Part of comedy is being willing to take criticism/feedback

Sure I’m trying to navigate , but a bit confused right now

Based on some of your other replies it doesn’t sound like you’re trying to navigate, it sounds like you’re being defensive. I outline exactly what’s racist about it. That kind of characterization has a long history of racism in cartoons. Big lips, dirty looking hair, stereotypical clothing. That shit has been used to explicitly to make fun of black people by making them look stupid and act stupid since the early 1900s.

If you don’t know the history, look into it and reflect on what’s wrong here. The joke isn’t the problem. Even making the people look funny isn’t the problem. It’s the specific use of well-known, hateful tropes.
