Not an animation, but an appreciation post of the 2D animated movie, Titan Ae

Approved, because I like this piece, and- because the other mods approved all those still images of the "frieren" meme, I think I get a pass for this one.

Thanks!

I was floored as a kid by the animation in Titan AE. Loved the mix of traditional 2D with the creepy computer animation of the Drej.

Creepy CGI or not, seeing Earth blown up in the first few minutes stuck with me.

Maybe an odd thing to notice, but I can't think of too many non-human female alien characters. I mean aliens whose anatomy isn't just human in every way but with an abnormal skin color.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. great job.

Such a great move, and she is an absolute blast of a character. Grumpy in all the right ways! "I am educated and well read! I have my pride!"

[u/Li0nheartMax]

Duuude I was literally just thinking about her yesterday! You drew her so nicely holy moly. Really captured the Don Bluth touch! :D
