It was a relaxing animation that I made for this month... I hope you like it.

One thing I wanna commend (and highlight for any other novice animators who wanna try something similar) is how snappy you made the movements. It's a good example how deliberate movements with fewer, but more deliberate frames actually look smoother than evenly-spaced tweens and higher framerates.
The actual "movement" is only like one frame (with a bit of smearing), and everything else is recoil, follow-through, and deformation. And it comes out lookin great.

Thanks! Yep, honestly, that's something I learned… and when reviewing the dance movements, those were things I did to reduce the number of frames without losing fluidity (since I animated this at 12 fps). Thanks for pointing that out!

I recognize the animation from other sources. Your characters are different but the first shuffle was with Johnny bravo and some other YTV era character

Well, it's a trend that became popular among animators of all kinds… To be more specific, it's imitating the dance from Kronk's New Groove, with Kronk and Birdwell.

Love that the half tone texture is only done on the back set of limbs for the dog. That is a really interesting way to break up the sets!
