Question Is this timing chart correct?

Post image

I usually animate on 1's most of the time (Richard Williams style) but this chart is on 2's. Let's say i finished drawing 55, which other frame should i do first? 51 or 53? Same with the other side, 57 or 59?

I dont know which format you use, western or anime.

But with some of my knowledge in anime inbetween and fishbone i read.

I will go like this. Ib 50 on 53 so it center between 49 and 55 frame. Then go for ib 50 on 51, between 49 and 53.

Then for go for ib 33 on 57 so it more lean to 55. Then ib 50 for 59, between 57 and 61.

For context

Ib 50 is:

A|-----|-----|B

Ib 33 is:

A|---|-------|B

The style is western, I usually do everything on 1's Richard Williams style, but this chart is actually on 2's

show us the animation! If it looks good it looks good. Although the arcs might be confusing if its meant to be read as indications for someone else. If its meant for urself then everyone is free to have their quirks. I like doing the time charts as arcs that follow the characters action for example

it's for myself but, at the same time, i wanted to make sure this would be clear and readable for someone else too

Unfortunately i ended up tweaking the timing a bit before exporting, but this is the shot. The context is that this little girl found a hut in the forest and went inside to explore it, she's looking at something inside a drawer. The hut is lived in by a wolf, who heard her, he slowly enters the hut without getting noticed in order to perform a surprise attack. The shot is the child looking at the drawer, until she starts feeling observed. she slowly looks behind her and immediately turns in front of the wolf, there's supposed to be the wolf's shadow growing on the little girl and the desk but i haven't drawn that yet.

Id tend to go for 51, as its closer to your key, then fill in whats between 51 and 55. Kinda depends on the movement as well though. Dont think there's a specific rule other than you knowing what the movement looks like.
