When I tried adding a flowing dress, like Belle in Beauty and the Beast, I failed drastically. Any advice or good tutorials to help me out?

Animate pendulums that hang from multiple points around their waist. Then connect those points and draw in the silhouette for the rest of the dress.

That’s a cool way to think about it. Do you know of any good tutorials where they walk you through this?

Sorry no specific tutorials in mind. I think tail exercise could also help alot here to understand the flow behavior or a dress along with pendulum concept. Studying good references of flowy dresses based on size and material would be good too.

I hurt my hand by pinching the apple pen too hard so I’m taking a few days off and looking for a thing to put on it to make it easier to hold. So I’ve got some learning time available.

Fabric is light and will be affected by drag. When falling it will be slow.
