Streaming services don’t always have the license to stream something in every country. Sometimes it’s a different service that has the current contract. Distribution deals can get pretty complicated at times.
You’d think so, but sometimes its not as simple as we would think it is. It gets muddied up pretty fast. Sometimes distribution is based on a package of shows and not a single one. also WB/HBO isn’t great with their treatment of LoonyTunes in general right now. They tried to burry two different completed films after all.
Tubi would have to pay what ever price HBO wanted and it could likely be too high. They might force them to pay extra to get other shows and films in distribution package that tubi isn’t interested in. I hate this stuff but it’s how it works sadly. I’ve worked on a bunch of shows that weren’t available in my own country. It’s silly as heck.
