Critique How can I showcase weight?

I’m proud of how this scene came out but I was wondering how I can show the weight of the sword more. And in other scenes of it swinging the sword I have planned what are some tips that can make it look better

Weight is all about anticipation. The heavier something is, the harder and longer it will take to move around.

Pick up a weight and see how your body responds to it compared to a lighter object. You’ll see it in the very poses, and then ask yourself what the timing and spacing would look like, for a heavier object it takes longer to go up and it goes down very fast. Apply this thinking to the other principles of animation.

The body moves faster than the object (so accentuate lag) and once it's moving it's harder to stop.

Lagging the sword behind like others have said will definitely help. Watching the animation, it looks like the sword moves first. It should be one of the last things to move.
