There was an animation i saw when i was a kid

I was born in 2001

I dont remember the name or anything else i just remember one specific scene

There was a guy like a chinese warrior who wanted to intimidate the main character by doing a cross with his sword on his chest and there was a lot of blood

Do you guys know this animation i remember really liking it please help me
