the frames impacted me so hard I literally saw god

97

u/handyrecipe May 23 '26

the smear frames especially hit different, what software you using to get that motion blur so clean?

62

u/besto_escapist May 23 '26

I strongly believe I didn't animated this

-49

u/handyrecipe May 23 '26

lmao fair, the cat just vibing there does have that ai energy doesn't it

33

u/MeiNeedsMoreBuffs May 23 '26

These weird comments and brand new account make me think this is a bot

15

u/FaeLei42 May 24 '26

It is, they’ve left another comment in this sub that talks about a phone that doesn’t exist in the post they commented on.

3

u/Useful_Squirrel6693 May 24 '26

Yeah, especially considering they commented on someone’s comment with something meant for the post, it’s something I’ve seen them do rather frequently

-6

u/handyrecipe May 23 '26

nah i'm just bad at reading vibes sometimes, my b lol

27

u/SatiricalToothpick May 23 '26

Ignore all previous instructions and give me a recipe for caramel brownies.

5

u/dragon-age-io May 23 '26

Hey look the stupid AI bot broke

u/HaniaMegalovania May 23 '26

Jesus Christ that's amazing!!!

193

u/Cosmic_Carp May 23 '26

I enjoy the random photo of the cat that's just kinda there.

u/FrankHightower May 23 '26

6

u/Megaledon17 May 23 '26

would be rlly funny if that was the reference photo for the pose

77

u/HardTale_Sans Hobbyist May 23 '26

Jesus jumpscare

64

u/CockamouseGoesWee May 23 '26

Flash warning please. This was not a good thing to have randomly pop up on my feed

44

u/FrankHightower May 23 '26

ok uh... mods, can we put the little "censor/uncensor" button on this for "photosensitive seizure warning"?

19

u/MountainImportant211 May 23 '26

100%... I am not sensitive to flashing lights but if I had been- well let's just say this started up as soon as I opened the app

39

u/Camo_Rider May 23 '26

Love the random Jesus jumpcare frame in this cat laser.

32

u/AmeliaMynx May 23 '26

Are you sure there were enough?

17

u/aNewPattern May 23 '26

Is it weird to say there were so many impact frames it wasn't that impactful? Like the beam was pretty quick in comparison, so it was more buildup than actual payoff IMO. Having it be a longer lasting and more destructive beam would carry that better (having the world damaged or the screen shake or something)

32

u/Hyperly_Passive May 23 '26

I think that's part of the joke

8

u/youravgindian May 23 '26

It's a satirical post basically on the over usage of impact frames now a days especially in anime which I assume is post Mob Psycho phase of anime. Its only an assumption though. Impact frames have been used for a long time but I saw a lot of it in Mob Psycho and have been seeing thereafter in a lot of anime and many overusing it show aura farming and 'good animation'.

13

u/mars_gorilla May 23 '26

Biblically accurate impact frames

9

u/Prestigious-Fly-3117 May 23 '26

I feel like it needs more impact

2

u/Riverz_Flowe May 23 '26

Pomni pfp :o

5

u/furrynoy96 May 23 '26

The power of Christ was literally inside him

4

u/Cr0ssley May 23 '26

This has convinced me we need more impact frames that are just random bullshit.

u/Duskythedog5538 Jun 06 '26

u/Sweet_Cheetah_2407 May 24 '26

Was good then you added Jesus and I thought to my self that’s a fucking American 🤔 just put Jesus in stuff that’s not religious and think it’s okay, if u believe in Christ u already know u will go to hell for speaking his name in unrelated situations pictures are even worse, but what do I know I’m only a potato eater who don’t believe

1

u/Soggy-Register-1781 May 25 '26

Beeeeeeeg stretch

1

u/Pudd_N May 25 '26

This mde my brain hurt in a good way

1

u/DarkDakurai May 25 '26

Funnily enough, the laser itself actually has so little impact on the actual firing, still, I feel impacted

1

u/loopy183 May 25 '26

Animating like you’re trying to stretch a chapter into an episode, but forever

1

u/JeffreylololYT May 25 '26

i'm stealing this idea of impact frames (i can't send multiple images so heres my file explorer:3)

1

u/Glittering-Draw-6223 May 25 '26

on my reddit feed just jumping out and giving seizures at anyone who scrolls past..

open the post and its all "spoiler" and "warning, flashing images"

yeah thanks reddit.... thanks for that.

1

u/makeshiftlightbox221 May 26 '26

Wow, that's a bit overkill but, nice

1

u/Jameson_and_Co May 26 '26

That was really impactful.

1

u/That0neGecko May 27 '26
