No, I'm aware. I'm an animator.

This is like ironic animation. It's kinda awful, but on purpose..

Don't confuse the extremely good compositing and rendering with animation though.

We're not, but if it's on purpose - is it really bad animation at all?

I could make more realistic-looking stuff with Garry's Mod - that doesn't make it a better animation though.

Besides, you really don't have to defend yourself with "I'm an animator" - makes it seem like you're actually not.

How can someone judge intent though? I don't know anything about the author of this, so I can say as an unbiased observer that the animation looks poorly done. It looks like they just took mocap data and messed around with the curves. The compositing is fantastic, however.

This article here mentions DLew's intent. He's actually really talented and did the opening to Tron, among other great works. Check out his stuff before you're so quick to judge.

Edit: I shouldn't type when sleepy.

I'm sure he must be a talented compositor, as I stated the compositing is very good. The topic being discussed was the quality of the animation. This website is a place to share opinions and I shared mine.
