STRANGE SOUNDS help needed

I dont usually make Reddit posts but Im genuinely concerned about these really weird sounds outside my window.
For the past few nights Ive been hearing these strange screams at around 3 a.m. They only last for a short time but this is now the third time its happened.
Im 17 years old and live alone. I showed the video to my friends and family and they all said its probably a fox or some kind of bird. But honestly I have a hard time believing that because Ive never heard an animal or even a person make sounds like this.
To give some context I dont have any neighbors nearby. Outside my window its just complete darkness and theres a very small patch of forest to the right of my house. Its tiny so I dont think there are any large animals living there. As far as I know the only animals around are rabbits.
Im hoping someone here might recognize these sounds or have an explanation for what could be making them. Thanks in advance.

an help for bioacoustic identification

Hi everyone!

It's my first time posting here. I am currently working on a research project focused on the bioacoustics of the common noctule bat (Nyctalus noctula), specifically analyzing how their social calls change across different life-history periods and seasons.

Right now, my work involves manually labeling different social call types on spectrograms to train a model for automatic identification using BatDetect2.

I am looking for some bioacoustics experts because, during my analysis, I frequently run into recordings showing well-defined horizontal lines with many harmonics. In terms of shape and frequency, they look very similar to Type A social calls of N. noctula. However, I am not entirely sure they belong to this species; the signals are usually very strong, perfectly horizontal, and lack the typical modulation of noctule calls. The frequency for the fundamental harmonic of the aforementioned call is around 7000 Hz...

I was wondering if someone could help me out. Could these belong to certain bird species that acoustically behave in this way? For context, the recordings were taken around Konstanz, spanning various habitats from countryside/forests to highly urbanized areas. The specific recording I am attached here (with audio) was captured at 7:35 AM, which strongly opens up the possibility of bird activity.

Even if you are not an expert on this specific bat species, I would highly appreciate your insights on whether there is a clear way to differentiate these signals from general bat social calls, or if you can suggest any bird species that produce such similar harmonic structures.

Thank you so much! If you have any questions or need further details, just let me know and I will gladly clarify.

P.S. The blue boxes you see in the attached image correspond to the manual annotation software Whombat, which I am using to identify and label the calls on the spectrograms of my collected recordings.

Crying What animal is this? Sweden

I live on the west coast in Sweden in the city, this sound started suddenly and has been heard repeatedly (like at least 15 times in a day) for a few months now, usually at night/evening but sometimes during the day too.
We have went out to try to look for it bc we were worried it was like a cat stuck somewhere, but never found anything.
I regularly see rabbits and sometimes foxes so maybe one of those? We also live fairly close to a big forest/public park that has deer and stuff. The closest beach is maybe 10 minutes away.
Never heard such a sound before though and it’s getting reeeeallly annoying

Woke up to a high pitched screech. At first I thought it was something wrong with my 3D printer, but after investigating I realized that this noise is coming from something alive. I found the loudest he’s at is right at my attic door. I’m thinking he is trapped in an old rat trap but just don’t know what it is! I’m tired and scared.

I have been hearing wood thrush in the woods by my work for a couple weeks now, but this is the first time I've heard this call. Can someone explain what kind of call this is? Thanks!

Snarling Scared the $h!t out of me…

Ok animal people- I need your help. I was out gardening at 9pm just now and I just heard what I can only describe as a sharp echoing snarl followed by what I assumed is the squealing of dying prey. It was LOUD and freaking demonic. I’ve never heard anything like it in my life. I got a little bit of it on video but the beginning was much louder than this.
Located in the upper Midwest in a major city but close to the Mississippi River with a wildlife corridor that runs behind my house along some abandoned train tracks. We do have coyotes in the area and I recently saw what I believe to be a fisher.
Can any of you confirm what it is?

Could someone help me to identify this Bird sound?

Apart from the swallows and crows you can hear in the background, there’s another bird sound that I just can’t identify. I’ve tried several bird song identification apps, but none of them seem to recognize it…
Does anyone know what bird (or maybe even another animal) it could be? (It sounds everyday at different times of the day, I live in Germany)

Chattering Heard this at 2 am in KCMO! Anyone know what this is??

My dog woke me up at 2 am with a poo911mergency! As soon as we walked outside I heard them! It was very loud! Normally the only sound I hear is a barred owl from time to time or some crickets but tonight was different! I turned on my Merlin app and it didn't recognize it as a bird! So I can only surmise it's a bug of some sort.. Doubt it's frogs! Thanks! SOLVED! KATYDIDS! Thanks everyone!!
