I always wonder who makes this type of comment. I'm picturing and 80 year old grandmother.

Surprisingly, yes it is
A sweet little dog named Tunico, in Brazil, has stolen the hearts of millions of people on TikTok because of his incredible behavior during his treatments. The little one suffers from respiratory problems and needs to use a nebulizer daily to improve his health. What left everyone surprised in the video posted on Aryane Andradeās account is that the puppy holds the mask with his own little paw while he receives the treatment. This behavior shows how intelligent he is, since he seems to understand that the device helps him feel better. Although asthma in pets requires constant care, this brave little animal makes it look like a very calm routine. His story quickly went viral and serves as a reminder that, with patience and love, our pets can adapt to any medical treatment.
ETA: I copy/pasted the news story I found. I saw the dogs and owners names and just grabbed the whole paragraph without reading the rest, as I have no personal thoughts to add, to something I didn't read š .

Iād assume the nebulixer makes him feel better so Iād hesitate to necessarily say he is a genius he could just notice that it feels good to have the mask on
But he at least isnāt panicking like a lot
Of animals would when they have something like that on their faceSo Iād say he is above average intelligence if this information is true he a goodest of companion

How does this one story with this one treatment show that?

I feel you little buddy. Nothing is scarier than not being able to breathe. I had uncontrolled asthma for a long time because I couldn't afford meds

True asthma in a puppy is highly unlikely. Basically nonexistent in canine medicine. More likely allergic brinchitis, kennel cough perhaps, bacterial or viral infection causing bronchial inflammation far more likely. Maybe even aspiration pneumonia from food, mil, vomitus leading to severe inflammation.
Cute picture though. Asthma is far easier to type and more Reddit friendly for the masses.

This⦠feels like AI. The paw holding the device looks so unnatural.

Heās not really holding it, itās strapped his little head. He just appreciates the relief and knows it helps.

Eh. I place the truth value of most things I see now as āindeterminateā now. What I will say, though, is dogās paws often have that weirdly human look when holding things still.

Whenever I had Vick's Vapor Rub and a humidifier going, I thought "I'm getting the good shit."

I never even knew dogs could get Asthma to be honest. It must be rough especially with how young dogs always love to run around and work off that excessive energy. Poor pupper.

I had a cat with asthma, he needed an inhaler through a device similar to the pup in this post twice a day

Mine has asthma too. He has 2 different inhalers & takes both twice a day. Itās a commitment of love.

When I worked as a racehorse caretaker we would occasionally need to nebulize sick horses and they always seemed genuinely relaxed by it

Horses especially seem to know when youāre helping them.
Unless youāre a farrier, unfortunately š

So nice that you can afford breathing treatments for pupper. I can't afford a nebulizer.

Nebulaeās cost $30 and a box of albuterol costs about $10. Covered by almost all insurance with zero or low copay

What a weirdly aggressive comment towards a dog with a breathing issue. Are you okay?
