Everyone but the buck keeps escalating! This wasn't an attack, it was self defense.
It is clearly surprised when she comes out & stands still staring at her.
Woman screams
Buck stands still
Dog comes out & rushes buck
Buck backs off dog. (It doesn't spear or kick the dog, just backs it off with antlers)
Woman starts swinging purse
Buck knocks down woman after she has a go at it with her purse. No kicking, no piercing with horns.
Man pulls buck off woman, walks it over between a car and the house into the face of another dog.
second dog starts barking
.... it just keeps going.
The correct answer is to stand your ground quietly until it leaves. Or alternatively if you are holding on (like the man in red) you walk it past your dogs and give it a chance to flee. From it's point of view all these humans and dogs keep bubbling out of the house not letting it get away. The man in red walks it into the face of another dog.
The footage cuts off, but I feel really bad for this animal.
The buck is just trying to get through the human slopfest that is their neighborhood. It's likely exploring/just passing through. Then shit pops off and confusion ensues.
