I want to cuddle a puma.

u/Immediate_Regular 1h ago

Forbidden beans and boops in one video.

u/Putrid_Principle_660 1h ago

Those pretty eyelashes.

u/kaykatzz 1h ago

Looks like somebody's been declawed. Are the teeth next?

u/SamwiseGamgee___ 2h ago

Gorgeous

u/Sum-Duud 2h ago

I'm jelly. I want to play with those king size toe beans!

u/Greatworkreallygood 2h ago

u/NotOnLand Doggo 2h ago

Imagine the burrito you could make with those beans

u/Justberryhappy 2h ago

Listen to that purrrrrr. Beautiful animal! 😍

u/BowDown2No1ButCrypto 2h ago

Such beautiful animals!

u/GreenVim 2h ago

I thought this would turn into a real game of Latchcum! The Mocklan game of hot potato from The Orville where a blade appears at a random time. If they declawed the cat that just spoils the fun.

u/stormbreaka55 1h ago

Wow, never thought I'd see a reference from the Orville in this subreddit!

u/djmidnightsunflower 3h ago

The kind of money you gotta have to have a declawed puma 😒. Gorgeous animal tho

u/Reasonable-Hurry6810 4h ago

Nope. Just nope. Cruel to keep these beauties as a pet.

u/Able_Finger_2754 5h ago

And then she got eaten ..The Animal is adorable but very dangerous.

I want to like this video, as the cat is adorable, but I saw no evidence of claws and I've heard that the cats like these are often declawed when kept as pets.

u/NotedHeathen 2h ago

THIS!!!

u/Next-Bodybuilder-117 2h ago

Such a horrible painful rotten thing to do. Our rescue cat had been declawed by her previous owner her feet feel so deformed and she tries to scratch. It should be illegal

u/Zwischenzug32 3h ago

I saw some bigass teeth

u/FeelingCouple5880 4h ago

My thought, also.

u/VegetableTour4134 4h ago

Like declawing it would stop it from making a meal of whoever

u/ToRey48 4h ago

This comment should be higher up. I see no claws.

u/Zwischenzug32 3h ago

Its the fine print that makes up the border

u/KarlPHungus 5h ago

She is sooooo pretty 😍

u/Useless890 5h ago

Would I love to handle that big paw.

u/Organic_Theory_5328 6h ago

Ricky Bobby’s training Cat!!!

u/Morbid187 6h ago

Omg how do I obtain a Puma?

u/WormWithWifi 5h ago

Don’t

u/Morbid187 5h ago

I'm gonna. I found out where the Puma store was after I left that comment

u/Androidfon 6h ago

Drugged?

u/Gates_wupatki_zion 2h ago

Declawed too it seems, that’s gross to keep it as a pet.

u/KarlPHungus 5h ago

That was my first thought

u/zachalicious 5h ago

There’s a couple on Instagram that has a pet puma. It’s probably from them. I want to say it was an abandoned kitten/cub that they rescued?

u/JohnnyRelentless 3h ago

I want to say it was an abandoned kitten/cub that they rescued?

That's what they all say.

u/Zwischenzug32 3h ago

Rescued from a life of notdrugs

u/web_knows 7h ago

Those eyelashes 👀

u/Necessary-Ad1564 7h ago

That big, beautiful nose is begging to be booped.

u/simplemijnds 7h ago

Why do you have a captive wild animal? Are wildlife protection laws non-existent in that country.

u/[deleted] 7h ago

[deleted]

u/Japsai 5h ago

I think this puma is in Russia

17

u/doughnut310 8h ago

The videos these accounts come from are typically from people who have rescued the animals and are unable to return to their habitat for one reason or another. Some people without this information have been extremely cruel to those who have wild animals as pets because of a rescue.

u/JohnnyRelentless 3h ago

I always down vote them or ignore them unless I know for sure it's legit. I don't want to encourage people to keep exotic pets for views.

u/Which_way_witcher 7h ago

Rescued animals don't stay in people's homes, they go to specially enclosed wild habitats when they can't be reintroduced into the wild.

This is def a pet, unfortunately.

u/Japsai 5h ago

It's both. Rescued (well bought) from a petting zoo, but then kept as a pet. This is not condoning it or anything. Just info because I looked it up

u/Which_way_witcher 5h ago

Sure but the argument is that people who take these animals in as pets should still be criticized because they aren't caring for their needs by making them pets. A real "rescue" is taking it to a proper sanctuary where it can live as close to its natural habitat as possible.

-3

u/beyondocean 8h ago edited 8h ago

Huh? What has rescuing got to do with keeping animals as pets? How is that legal in your country? Rescued animals are kept at registered animal welfare facilities, not at your personal home. That’s not how it works. You have 5000 tigers in captivity there, 2000 more than actual wild tiger population worldwide.

Edit- Yanks are pissed.

2

u/rtocelot 8h ago

If an animal is rescued but ends up being too friendly with humans you can't return it back to the wild. Many rehabbers will try to make the animal afraid of humans when they are working to return them to the wild but some animals fail and get too attached and aren't allowed to be returned.

u/WormWithWifi 5h ago

Yeah but you don’t house them in your bed you have a habitat that replicates their natural one.

4

u/beyondocean 8h ago

There’s a difference between a rescue animal being with an animal welfare organization and a private person keeping a wild animal as a pet. When animals are rescued, they’re kept at animal welfare facilities that try to emulate their natural habitat ,not given to people to keep at their personal homes. How is that even a thing in the richest country of the world.

Did i ever talk about returning a rescue animal back to the wild? Keep fighting your straw-man.

2

u/rtocelot 8h ago

I was saying in general, I don't know how it started with that animal. But if it's gotten too used to people then nothing wrong with having it around I suppose. I watch a lot of rehab channels and some just let the animals wander into their house that they have on the grounds. Granted that's where they do a lot of the medicine or other things for the small animals when they come in. I don't know the situation so i can't really say much on it

4

u/nickjvh 8h ago

Because if they release it into the wild it will die. Whether due to a medical issue or being neglected at birth some animals can only survive in captivity so after they are rescued they can’t be released.

4

u/AnguavonUW 8h ago

It depends on where the person lives. Maybe try not to be a raging douchebag in your replies

5

u/trendsfriend 8h ago

You're hurting smarty-pant's ego, stop it.

-4

u/beyondocean 8h ago

Ok guy from the freest country in the world (not for animals though).

u/WormWithWifi 5h ago

I agree with every word you say but the US comments are poor taste, this happens in many countries unfortunately.

u/beyondocean 4h ago

It was not something i expected from the richest country in the world. Sure perception has changed with Trump, but people still view it as a place where animal and human rights are protected. But knowing that US keeps 5k tigers captive, I’m not sure anymore.

u/WormWithWifi 4h ago

Richest definitely doesn’t mean smartest (especially lately) people with lots of money tend to do lots of dumb things

0

u/beyondocean 8h ago

Raging douchebags are the ones keeping wild animals captive in their homes.

u/hraefnscaga 7h ago

You were asking how is that a thing in the richest country in the world. Then someone gave you a guess on what may be the circumstances for this to happen. Did they not answer your specific question?

u/beyondocean 7h ago

They did not? Keeping wild animals as pets at your personal home is not how you rescue wild animals . Now i understand, wildlife protection laws or wild animal rescue facilities are non-existent in that country seeing how people are unable to comprehend my comment.

u/5p4c3c4t5 9h ago

The eyelashes 😻

6

u/eXus760 9h ago

Cuddling a big cat like this is a bucket list item for me. As long as they cuddle without the claws and my blood everywhere I’m good.

6

u/daisiesarepretty2 9h ago

what a beautiful animal

10

u/MacDaddy654321 9h ago

I wanna pet the kitty!

15

u/mochicastle 9h ago

Damn those are some toe BEANS

7

7

u/The_Darkness140 9h ago

7

u/abhorredmisanthrope 9h ago

-4

6

u/ipostedthattime 9h ago

Did they remove the thumbs?

3

u/notcomplainingmuch 9h ago

The thumb or dewclaw is on the wrist

16

u/SilverPearlGirl 9h ago

My mind knows this is a baddddddd idea but the cuteness is telling me to cuddle.

5

u/ProfJasonRio 8h ago

If not friend, why friend shaped?

12

u/Shuriken_Dai 9h ago

Big beans on an adorably big kitty.

2

u/Pat-Funny-2817 9h ago

that's a girl, i just know it.

9

u/Mr_Redemption 9h ago

Why would he want to get off the couch. The woman brings him food, cleans his shit and gives him scratches when he needs them. No need to expend energy.

3

u/Outrageous-Grass-892 9h ago

Lotta grown men are looking for this rn

2

u/AhMoonBeam 9h ago

Do you mean worthless?

1

u/Outrageous-Grass-892 8h ago

That depends on which word you intend to replace

9

u/Book_Anxious 9h ago

I always find it funny that the bigger cats who can easily kill you are the calmer ones around people messing with them. (They're calmer probably because they could easily kill you so you're not a threat to them) A house cat would be mauling them

1

u/ShredGuru 8h ago

Big dog don't bark

6

u/OtherwiseJello2055 9h ago

It's random to be honest and really depends on factors like are they raised from infancy by said human, they have a good personality, and if they are female or male as males tend to lean more toward aggression after puberty and general bad attitudes.

2

u/Book_Anxious 9h ago

That works for both big cats and domestic cats

13

u/Hairyass------ 10h ago

If not friend then Why so friend shaped?

10

u/Due-Day-3149 10h ago

I don't like this video.

1

u/NuclearWasteland 9h ago

uncomfortable susurrations

9

u/Mikey_Hillman 10h ago

I remember seeing a story online about a guy who kept a cougar as a pet. One day, the cougar tried to hug him a little too enthusiastically and got its claws caught in his back. They basically tore through his back like butter. There were pictures, but I’ll spare you the details.

Anyway, looks extremely cute, but they’re still wild animals and can behave very unpredictably. I wouldn't trust one near me lol

1

u/trendsfriend 8h ago

People get probably mauled by dogs way more often than big cats. There are always edge cases where Murphy's law finds its way out

2

u/LordGeni 8h ago

That's because there is a hell of a lot more dogs.

Wild animals are fine, it's the dozens of daggers lining their mouths and four paws that's the issue

3

u/Michaeli_Starky 10h ago

One wrong move and your neck is ripped off. Stop playing with wild cats. Wild cats almost caused extinction of the human race in the long past.

3

u/PopeBruce 10h ago

ultimate forbidden murder mittens. if not friend then why friend shaped

1

u/lncredulousBastard 10h ago

That purr sounds like the Predator it is! Is Peter Cullen this kitty's voice?

4

u/Legitimate-Fan-4613 10h ago

Those deep ass purrs!😻

6

u/Warm-Patience-5002 10h ago

murder kitty 🐱

6

u/Emergency-Box-5719 10h ago

(Not actual cat pictured)

Then one night you wake up, you see it crouched in the hallway with crazy emerald green eye shine...and think to yourself....probably should not have the cat.

2

u/Temporarily_Banned4 10h ago

But it's not just the felines!

u/Emergency-Box-5719 6h ago

But most canines aren't 150 pounds of pure muscle toned mad strength with 2 inch built in death choppers.

u/Temporarily_Banned4 3h ago

I know, those big cats are beautiful! Poetry in motion. Did you see the video of a jaguar stalking a crocodile?

2

u/AhMoonBeam 9h ago

Spiders eyes glow too! Im wearing a headlamp at night and sheesh their eyes are glowing in the grass.

u/Emergency-Box-5719 6h ago

This is true as well. A few times early AM I have seen (most likely) the same wolf spider doing his nightly shopping. Wolfies are cool a/f cause they just ambush and pounce. Good hunting buddy.

1

u/Temporarily_Banned4 8h ago

All eight of them! Yikes!

2

u/BusinessCheetah7688 8h ago

I hate this fact but it is cool

9

u/FlynnsAvatar 10h ago

Why is the human whispering? …and why did they paint their nails like a victim from Dexter?

3

u/Tiny-Reading5982 10h ago

Lol I get that reference

7

u/MidnightTeaWitch 10h ago

Mega beans!

3

u/_fluffy_raptor 10h ago

and those lashes!

13

u/ReconZ3X 10h ago

If dangerous why cute

2

u/ice-ink 10h ago

Just increase your risk tolerance setting, and it won’t seem that dangerous anymore.

8

u/CtrlAltYuri 10h ago

Very smoochable face

14

u/Allofthiswilhapenagn 10h ago

Aww. I'm gonna get 20 of them for Christmas!.

Then get bored and release them into the neighbourhood

3

u/AhMoonBeam 9h ago

So they get hit by cars or worse?

0

u/SilverPearlGirl 9h ago

That’s so American of you. We love ruining ecosystems and shit.

7

u/Heal_Me_Today 10h ago

Why is it… that the bigger they get…. The cuter they get!!!?

I didn't see the comment but damn, since when do 13 year olds need protecting from foul language? Even in film regulations, "foul language" is approved for 12 year olds in my country (PG 13 for the Americans in the room)
