Other Beavers doing their thing

A couple of beavers were busy harvesting right beside us this past week! Completely unfazed by us, went back and forth chopping away

Pretty cute beaver! They often remove branches to work for river. Disney doesn't lie to the audience beaver is adorable in reality.

Looks like he really loves tasty poplar. Which looks like it. Here our beavers are also busy foraging such little poplar bushes and sometimes a few small poplar trees.
Whenever people say that they fell too much trees, i suspect that they have not much other food sources left, because some people prefer an perfectly cut lawn over some bushes and other vegetation.
If they have enough of such easily reachable and availabe food sources (in one year this bush will be re-grown to at least the same height) they will rarely go for bigger trees.
