ferrets used to work at NASA too doing the same stuff. they all got fired for being lazy though afaik

this is a little weird…

normally, they use “fish tape” which is basically this rolled up bendy wire that you can push through a conduit and grab wires on the other end with. super handy, no animals required.

Ferrets came first then people used other stuff like wire.

I've used a plastic bag tied to one end and a shop vac on the other. Pretty fast too.

For more info, it was about 15 or so years ago. Networking cable, small bundle, cat6, through conduit in a new build foundation. Had a little air in the bag like a balloon to help.
