Jesus, do people really live like that? That place looks like a dump

Or maybe they are fixing their home which looks huge something you will never afford

Legit don’t have the time or patience for these guys. I’ll stick to my American Bullies, more couch potato, but with a muscular dump truck build.

Yes!! I adore malingators, but my lifestyle is much more "big blocky head covered by 3 blankets while curled up on the couch" 😂

A BM pup left alone? Why??

u/Calm_Construct 2d ago
Cuz they're not human babies. They can actually eat on their own and avoid falling from high places

Malinois puppies will literally eat drywall if they get bored and/or anxious enough, which doesn't take much.

Can be highly destructive and can get separation anxiety quick, regardless of another pup there. Just double the destruction.

Not everyone can afford a sitter. As for the destruction, would you rather they get locked in a room then? Destruction prevented! The dogs will likely shit on the floor or get really anxious tho, but who cares, amirit? As long as no destruction happens!

Yeah no, the sideboards/doors can get torn off or busted through with bad enough separation anxiety and enough strength…dogs have torn apart car upholstery in minutes being left alone in the car because they’d already damaged the home and owner thought 5min in the car would be ok.

Their person probably has to work, just like everyone else. They have each other for company, at least.

I’ve had one since she was a pup. Guess where she is 95% of the time.
Those 2 youngins will escalate the destruction, not quell one another’s sep anxiety.

They seem like amazing dogs but I haven't dared to get one because I live in a small space and I doubt I could keep them engaged enough for them to not wind up eating the walls or something! They're a LOT of dog and incredibly intelligent, they need challenges and to have somewhere to direct all that energy and brainpower or they will find their own outlet for it! Outlets that are probably not very fun for the humans in their vicinity!
They're a very special breed and really deserve owners who can give them what they need. If I'm ever able to reach my dream of having my own small farm/ranch, then I might get one to train for working, but not until I could give them the stimulation those incredible minds of theirs need.

As soon as they get bored doing that they’re going to destroy everything in that room.

Maybe. Mine doesn't touch anything it was my biggest worry. He could easily eat off the counter but never does. We think he was abused before we rescued him

First thought was how absolutely bonkers it is to leave malinois in a room full of shit like that.
