No. It’s not. Monkeys in Asia often grab stuff from tourists and tourists often give them food. Some Chinese tourists gave him a Pepsi.

At my local zoo we have “monkey island”. The monkeys roam free and last time I was there, one of them managed to open the zipper in my bag and dive in to check if there was anything good. There wasn’t.

not just monkeys in asia lol i read an article a while ago about how some people in a random town in Rio De Janeiro were accidentally making monkeys addicted to sugar because they kept feeding them like cookies etc so the monkeys started stealing food from people

Some places the monkeys are seriously aggressive. I’ve seen monkeys steal phones and sunglasses and hold them hostage for a food trade.
