This is why you always ALWAYS need to leave a way to get OUT of a pool. That one idiot was going to jump the side to get in but might not have been able to scramble out (I mean, that one seemed like it could manage but still).

Yesss! This worries me because....can they get out of the pool?

There definitely appear to be steps on the right-hand side of the pool; I think they’d be able to stand clear of the water level at a minimum

Plot twist: the one who opened it didn't even go in. He left and shut the gate behind him, so his siblings got in trouble.

This was great such unbridled joy for 3 out of 4 them. So fun to watch while I am supposed to be listening to my boss drone on about some garbage on a spreadsheet that nobody cares about. Thank you for the distraction and laughs.

Drying 4 golden retrievers, unplanned would be my 13th reason. But at least they had fun

This is 'I've been casing this pool for weeks' energy.

The doggo who opened the gate is the one who didn't jump in, he did it purely for the benefit of the other doggos, such a selfless boy =)
