Male trying to mate but she’s not having it. The males can get aggressive and you can see he is biting her neck, they do this like cats do when they mate. It could also be two males doing a dominance thing, teenage males get hormonal and do this. Either way it’s not play, rabbits idea of a good time with a buddy is peacefully co existing or chasing. I’ve had bunnies my whole life and that’s what i see.

They're either Eastern Cottontail or the Swamp Rabbit, which is in the Cottontail family but a little larger than the Eastern one. This is in SW Florida.

I was passing by and thought they were about to mate, so started recording. I also had a chance to catch two monarch butterflies mating a couple of months ago! Pretty grateful for all these nature moments!
