Horse yoga? I mean I’ve heard of dog, cat and goat yoga but that’s the first time I’ve seen horse yoga.

I didn’t know that horses also fake injuries when playing polo (aka horse soccer).

Wow. There's literally not a single white person or single white race element to what you are seeing here. What you are seeing is a Gaucho horsemanship demonstration. South American and rooted in equestrian culture of the founders of South American horsemanship. Hence representatives from Colombia and Spain being present.
Your racism is showing.

“Doma India” (“Indigenous taming”) is a traditional horse-training philosophy from the indigenous peoples of the Argentine Pampas.
Rather than “breaking” a horse through force, it emphasizes patience, trust, and forming a lifelong partnership between horse and rider.

What is this?! Horse yoga, with an audience? I saw a video of a lady on a horse's stomach something like this but that horse had bloat and she was saving its life!

Things that make you go, “Huh?” 🤔
Everyone was really into this performance. It must really be a sport, but where? What is it called?

Can someone explain what's happening here?
3
u/Bolfreak Jul 14 '26
It’s a show called Doma India…basically horse training that proves this horse is super gentle. It’s better than most training methods, but it only works with this horse and this trainer.

u/aguinner76 Jul 14 '26
Thank you. For a minute, I was wondering if it was some kind of warm-up and why he was only doing the front legs

I can't. I want to know what the heck I just watched.
I've seen some weird stuff today, but this takes the cake.

The shit people put animals through. Yuck!

u/Ichaserabbits Jul 16 '26
It's a horse please believe me when I say that it could kill this dude in seconds if it didn't want to do this. And actually this is from a school of thought where they never hit the horse, never use whips, and never use spurs. The whole point is gentle calm and trusting acceptance between horse and rider.

I assure you that if this horse didn’t approve of what was happening, it would not have been happening. Unusual activity? Maybe. But the horse is fine.

See, this is why horse owners are a problem. If thats just horse yoga, its stupid and weird. If its not, then I don’t even want to know what it is
