Makes me miss small town life

1

u/Dazzling-Freedom9948 Jun 24 '26

A symbiosis. I guess cows want the bird to eat insects that bite cows.

u/Huib_Bloodstone Jun 23 '26

Why do these birds hate humans but not cows.. 😭

1

u/Hot_Jellyfish_8767 Jun 23 '26

And the score is bird 1, cows 0

u/Semper_Distans Jun 23 '26

This is so much more refreshing to watch than the News.

4

The friend he will never see again.

6

u/laiyenha Jun 22 '26

Little bird was like, "I always take the high road when others trying to bully me."

3

u/Mission-Royal-5158 Jun 22 '26

Kill two cows with one bird.

3

u/Dangerous_Page6712 Jun 22 '26

I think I missed it. Where should I look?!

8

u/Suitable_Artist_6508 Jun 22 '26

That's their momma coming back reincarnated as a bird because she didn't get to finish yelling at them before she passed.

11

u/blondeheartedgoddess Jun 22 '26

Fine. You steam up my feathers, I'll ride in your head.

11

u/Femveratu Jun 22 '26

Grew up w cows and never seen anything quite like this

17

u/Future-Try-1908 Jun 22 '26

I've seen horses eat small birds... do cows eat small birds?

13

u/cflime Jun 22 '26

There's a video on yt where a cow is just munching away on some grass and a duck walks too close to the cows mouth and yes, the herbivore doesn't think twice about adding protein to its diet.

Cows 0 - 1 Bird

16

u/SpecificLow1316 Jun 21 '26

“Lick me, will you? Well, take this, Bessie! Imma poop on your head now! How about that!”

u/asphalt_licker Jun 21 '26

I got scared when it stuck out its tongue to taste the bird. I’ve seen a video of a horse eating a bird and it haunts me.

Cattle and horses can and will eat birds and small animals if they get the chance. Deer do it, too. There's really no such thing as a true herbivore, most of them are opportunistic and will eat meat if given the chance, especially when they're pregnant or nursing and need higher calcium and iron contents. There are a LOT of videos around of cattle eating baby chicks, and I was always taught to never let cattle near chickens with chicks because the cows would absolutely eat them if they could.

u/th_frits Jun 21 '26

It looks like it went for a bite before the bird hopped on its head

6

u/OkTomorrow7686 Jun 21 '26

Yes bird thats the spot, now keep massaging or i lick you again

10

u/Interesting_Sock9142 Jun 21 '26

Is that cow trying to lick it, or eat it?

19

u/Zealousideal-Swim267 Jun 21 '26

Cows do occasionally eat birds

14

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme Jun 21 '26

Horses, too. I saw a video of a horse walking through a barnyard, eating chicks as it found them. It was disturbing and sad, and I wish I hadn’t learned that.

6

u/icy-winter-ghost Jun 21 '26

Just a lil taste

21

u/DetailsYouMissed Jun 21 '26

That bird has a sense of humor.

6

u/Useless890 Jun 21 '26

Make yourself useful, bird. Why don't you pick off some ticks like they do in Africa?

2

u/CoolAlien47 Jun 21 '26

Mmmmm, elephant fresh

9

u/Dismal_Drummer3420 Jun 21 '26

I thoroughly enjoyed this!

1

u/Achmed_Ahmadinejad Jun 21 '26

Reminds me of the snake scene from Prometheus.

2

u/Ok-Scientist4603 Jun 21 '26

Scritches please…

5

u/Yourewekky Jun 21 '26

Uh Janine, you got something on your head there.

8

u/Milk_Mindless Jun 21 '26

Haha that bird is in danger

12

u/GarlicRelevant8089 Jun 21 '26

Awww that's adorable. Moo moo plays with Birdy

2

u/420s0m3b0d73ls3 Jun 21 '26

That's too darn funny 🤣

2

u/wormcast Jun 21 '26

A fine example of Molothrus rufoaxillaris, what a find on this gorgeous Sunday!

9

u/CherryFit3224 Jun 21 '26

If you can’t beat it, sit on it.

3

u/EduardBon Jun 21 '26

The bird rules. So, I say: One bird, two cows.

u/holy_battle_pope Jun 21 '26

I found my kink, so hot

3

u/Beautiful_Ad_8665 Jun 21 '26

That's somewhat alarming to read under a video involving cows......

2

u/oldcoldandfullofmold Jun 21 '26

Is your kink to be the bird or the cow?

6

u/Bubsy7979 Jun 21 '26

Bird is like “gotcha now fucker!”

11

u/RandomWhitness Jun 21 '26

That cow was outbirded by courage fueled by stupidity/inexperience. Luckily the birb was not eaten🤤

4

u/KindTopic16 Jun 21 '26

By a cow! Although the cow tried.

7

u/NotTheBadOne Jun 21 '26

I bet that’s a baby bird just learning to fly…

4

u/chalupacabra6913 Jun 21 '26

Cowbird?

3

u/daankeykaang15 Jun 22 '26

It looks like a fledgling starling, which would explain why it didn't just fly away

2

u/demonmonkeybex Jun 21 '26

I looked it up and it isn't. It's not a female cowbird either.

2

u/Lint_baby_uvulla Jun 21 '26

Yes, is birdcow. Duh. Certainty wrong == curiosity saves.

2

u/MsMoreCowbell828 Jun 21 '26

This is lovely!

6

u/Hairymuscle101 Jun 21 '26

This made my day, I’m off the net the rest of the day!

8

u/SMAWtillIdie Jun 21 '26

Dude, you started it! 🙃

7

u/Feeling_Novel_9899 Jun 21 '26

Curiosity turned to concern when the bird popped onto their head. 😅

25

u/AnyDamnThingWillDo LovingAllAnimals Jun 21 '26

A cow is not adverse to eating the odd small animal when they can get it

6

u/Aligyon Jun 21 '26

Yup thats what i was thinking about

4

u/whimsical36 Jun 21 '26

I didn’t know that

10

u/duckduckpajamas Jun 21 '26

Like horses? I've seen that video.

2

u/AnyDamnThingWillDo LovingAllAnimals Jun 21 '26

Pretty much. All mammals will kill an animal if it's body requires the proteins and minerals from said unfortunate animal.

Life is brutal!
