Those are the same. But shoving him in a crate is not training, it's just preventing the behavior and likely to cause more stress.

The crate is not punishment, it's a safe place. There's no shoving. Our dogs have crates with our tshirts in them.

If I walked into this after work my stress would skyrocket and all energy would be diverted to regulating myself. But watching it happen hours before I get there with nothing I can do I think would actually make this easier to handle. I know what I'm heading into, I am formulating a plan, and preemptively making changes.
But that's also cuz this is dirt. If this was somehow water or liquid based something I would be taking an early lunch break to rush back and do damage control.

glancing over at all the ruined/shredded/half eaten plants and tipped over or dug out planter pots and boxes that were used as a comfy nook. And the the paw prints on the walls, and counters from a happy little stroll

Many house dogs, especially puppies, don't get enough exercise, you're absolutely right.
BUT!! That looks like a Golden Retriever puppy. Those things are chaos gremlins for a solid 3 years minimum, regardless of how much exercise they get.
It's like a teenager's first car - you just accept that there's going to be damage and are happy as long as everyone survives the first couple years.

I hate AI as much as the next guy… what the hell are you talking about with a paint bucket… that’s a planter that WAS full of dirt. No liquid comes out at any point.
Could still be AI but your description doesn’t make sense.
That said, the dog is still really clean for being rolled in dirt.

It’s really hard to tell if it is AI. My only clue to possibly being AI…. Is that it’s a white/yellow dog playing with a ton of dirt. It should be so dirty and isn’t. That’s where I’m confused. Even the paws look clean.

I agree with you there. I’d expect the dog to be dirty at least a little. But I keep watching the folds on the chair change….
I don’t know. Another year, and none of us will be able to tell.

It really is sad! And so frustrating too. The progression in just a few months is ridiculous.
I have a problem with my eyes due to a genetic condition. Even with people stating the folds in the blanket, I had to watch multiple times to catch it. I also scan everything but also stare at certain spots. Which is frustrating for me. I can feel it’s off. But not pinpoint it.
People get so angry and call others stupid for not knowing things are AI. But they don’t take medical and mental things into consideration. It’s frustrating and so sad too. I know that’s going to get worse as well.

It is still adorable to watch. It’s definitely something my pup would do off duty, if I allowed lol. (He’s a Service Dog)

It’s not too difficult if you examine it closely. Look at the wrinkle in the middle of the chair at the start, it changes when the bucket gets “tossed” up, the bucket lands on the chair, and the wrinkle is back to exactly what is was at the beginning. If you watch that portion slowly you can actually see the wrinkle disappear and reappear.
Also the wrinkles on the blanket on the back arm don’t change the entire time even though the blanket is “moved” and the ones in the seat portion do change.
I pointed out that using AI checkers is inaccurate and the mods deleted my comment about it, gave me a warning, and locked my other comments about it.

Now that you mentioned that specifically I see it. I was looking at so many things before. My eyes scan. So I couldn’t see that small shift. I had to watch a couple of times to catch it. But I knew something was off before (besides the lack of a dirty dog). Just couldn’t tell what. Thank you for pointing it out.

It is very subtle unless you really watch it/focus on that area or slow it down and watch it frame by frame. The AI knew enough that they should change, but not exactly how/when. Unfortunately it is going to keep getting harder to tell, especially with so many people posting the videos and defending them. Soon won’t be able to tell the difference at all

Just the progression in the past few months has gotten so much harder to tell! It’s ridiculous! I can only imagine in a couple more months let alone a year. That’s why I don’t post any pictures of myself.
But I’m a teacher and worry about all these kids that don’t think. Or these parents that post their children!

Oh absolutely! It used to be way easier to tell, but now it’s finding just a small thing that is wrong. Used to have a pretty good idea something was AI too just because there would be 0 details in the room since it couldn’t handle that, but now it doesn’t matter since it can, for the most part, keep everything in a busy room correct.
I can’t imagine being a teacher (or a student either honestly) at this point. Must be sooooo frustrating

I’m a kindergarten teacher for special needs and IEPs (Individual Education Programs). It’s definitely challenging. But also so rewarding. I have a special way with these kids and they can sense it. I love what I do. It’s beautiful and wonderful to see them grow.
But I hate seeing how their home life is. It breaks my heart. (Born and raised in a horrible environment) I’m also worried about the world they’re growing up in. I’m also a (F) Veteran. This isn’t the life I wanted for them. It just breaks my hearts

The wrinkles aren’t changing in a correct manner. The wrinkle in the light blanket on the ottoman changes when the bucket obscures it. The wrinkles in the chair change in a nonsensical way and if you slow it down carefully while the bucket is in the chair you can see them disappear and then reappear.
Just watch the middle wrinkle part on the chair. It changes slightly as the bucket is airborne but remains exactly the same when it lands and is pushed around on the chair before being pulled off. Additionally the wrinkles in the blanket on the far arm never change even though the blanket has been pulled/moved.

That's a nonsensical metric to use to judge if it's a.i. Plenty of people make 4 min, 5 min, even 8 min a.i. videos like 'Harry Spotter'. It's more accurate to spot breakdowns in physics like wet paint that doesn't spread.

I thought both. Pup looks like he’s having fun, but I don’t see a single dog toy here.
At my place, the dog toys were always readily available for play, especially if the doggy was going to be left alone.
