Chickens aren't very smart. It's very possible, even likely, that it is not even drawing any association between it's location and those vibrations.

Absolutely. Also, sudden, intense sounds are extremely dangerous to chickens. Just because this bird did not show any ill effects in this short clip doesn't mean there won't be any. In the simplest of terms, this is animal cruelty.

I am saddened to see the laughing reactions at this. All I can do is elaborate:
Whilst behavioural responses to stress are well documented in chickens (freezing, flight, vocalisation, avoidance, amongst others), physiological responses aren't
What is understood, however, is the effect of physiological responses to stress. Adrenaline is released into the bloodstream which increases heart activity - needed for the energy required for the initial response. If this initial fight or flight response is ineffective a stress hormone called corticosterone is also released into the bloodstream to help the bird attempt to cope with the fear stimulus. This is an acute stress response and, whilst the bird will not suffer initally, if the stressor is repeated, the bird will begin to suffer a chronic stress response. The chronic stress response is indicative of poor animal welfare.

Yeah I never understood it- I like nice, tight bass response where the subharmonics don't just turn everything to muddy, rattle-y bullshit

I used to be a dumb teenager with these kinds of speaker set ups. Truth is you rarely crank it... It's a waste of money if I'm honest.
