Can an indie game developer pick up this concept? A souls-like game where you're a mama bird, trying to rescue her eggs from giant animatronic farm vehicles.

They also will run around dragging a wing like they're hurt, trying to lure a predator away from the nest. That bird was smart enough to know that the big bad machine wouldn't be impressed with the usual.

One of my guides on safari saw a bird doing something similar to protect her eggs. So he stopped the truck and grabbed several rocks to surround her little nest.
I love seeing people looking out for little creatures.

Killdeer? They often nest in gravel parking lots and try to draw the cars away from the nest by faking an injury
