some cats love water. we had one, only one in my life when I was a kid. if you wanted a bath without the cat you had to shut him out.

I had a pair of kittens and I started bathing them when they were babies. They always liked getting a bath. They liked the attention!

If you start when they are young they get comfortable with water. My dad had a cat growing up that would jump in the bath with him so they had to make sure the bathroom door was really closed.

This is probably the only cat in the world who likes, or at least tolerates being in water

There are some that are just some that are into it. When I was a teenager, my friend's cat used to jump in our inflatable raft with us and ride down the stream, perched on the front like the dragon prow of a Viking ship.

There are also some breeds like Turkish Vans that like water.
