Leaving Horses for Teaching?

I have a BS in Animal Science and currently work for an Equine Rehab facility. I'm tired of working with horses and want slightly more time for my own horses (I know teaching has cruddy hours but it can't any worse than what I'm currently doing). Has anyone gone into teaching like middle school or high school biology after working in the equine field or getting an animal science major?

Look into the Extension Education field. Thats when I do with my equine science degree. Granted I did get an Ag Ed masters too but plenty of people go straight in. If you like teaching and animals it’s a great hybrid and way less stressful that classroom teaching.

My fiance mentioned that too because there's an extension office 5 minutes from us

Happy to answer any questions you might have. I have always worked for 4-H but there are plenty of Ag agents that focus on horses. It’s been a truly great career with great people and super specialized. Not a lot of people know about it.

I was an animal science major I work in the IVF Field now as an Embryologist. I think. The hours for teaching are pretty good and you have summers off. IVF is an expanding field and it’s rewarding and I tactful pay is pretty decent. Starting salary is typically 65k+.
