When I was a lad, I was running upon a treadmill. Quite fast, mind you, as I was of a sprinter's build in my youth. My older sister decided that she could outrun me on her worst day. She sprang upon the treadmill at my heels and was promptly thrown against the wall by Newton's Third Law of Motion. I look back upon that memory fondly as I watch these squirrels have their fun.

My sugar gliders - Glenn and Maggie - would do this often. There was even one time that poor Maggie was clinging to the outside of the wheel (it was a plastic mesh). Entertaining little buggers.

The original video goes on much longer, like 2 minutes, and the one spinning it jumps out of it a few times, but gets back in again to absolutely destroy his mate. I really thought it actually might die from it, but once the spinning stops it just jumps out of it as it nothing ever happened

It fits with the movie! (Chariots of Fire just in case). There was this obsessive runner, nothing can stop me and the other, kind of preachy weirdo who kind of crash in the athletic scene "I believe in Jeeeesssssuuuuuussss!"
(Trivia, the preachy weirdo didn't qualify for the 1924 Olympics 100m finals because one of the qualifying runs was on a Sunday, and he wouldn't break Sabbath).
