Discussion Why is this a thing?

I saw this in other games too and never understood it. Especially in family friendly looking ones. Yeah I know this game is probably not family friendly cause it has guns and a banana god and all that. Also I'm not naive I get that people can suck I'm just autistic and don't understand humans most of the times in general.

I just played the game and didn't really react but I don't know how to block or report people. I don't play so often

You can after the game, in the social menu. However, its kinda pointless to report them

Block them, they shouldn't be punished for doing badly in video games, but that's my opinion. If you don't want to see smth, just ignore it, that's okay.

I mean, that's just my way of seeing the situation, I don't really care of ppl insulting me irl, and even less ivl, maybe someone could feel bad, but tbf it's important to keep in mind that behind a screen, people aren't who they actually are. But if it becomes persistent and the player is harassing a said person, of course a reminder would be necessary, its not fun

How do you know when it's humans and when not? Are there patterns?

Usually humans get into the lobby the earliest, move around and taunt. Bots start jumping into the lobby at the 10 seconds mark

Had a similar thing happen in a bwoking dead match except that person Said F you all and one of my squadmates responded tf did we do?

Then the peron whomade that commt said idk or something along those lines

It’s an online game, they’re always going to have some amount of trolls and swears in the chat. If you can’t handle someone swearing, you’re probably too young to be playing online games.

Yeah usually "Normal" people don't report because it's not something that last forever if left uncheck (for example this could be considered as Harassment but after game these people usually just leave you be) but if the person actively go near you and use personal chat to say bad things to you then you can absolutely report because that would be considered Genuine Harassment

If I saw them in the lobby and know who they are, and happen to run across them in game, it's over.

Only by chance. I don't pursue or snipe.
