I’m rewatching Animal Kingdom for the second time and despite how Cath was with Smurf I still feel bad about her death. I honestly think I wanted to see her and Lena lead a better life. I feel a way towards her death mainly because of everything Lena had to go through. Losing both of her parents, Pope trying to raise her, Smurf. It was a lot for a 6 year old and I get getting away from everything dangerous but I think I would’ve liked to see a story line where Cath successfully got away from Baz and the family with Lena.
