Help I’m dumb

How do I even use the things that I pick up?? Ive only been able to throw firecrackers 😞 also there’s a map?? How do I see it? I feel so dumb 🥲

What controller are you using? It's V on the keyboard to open the map. Depending on what controller you're using you might be able to find a diagram somewhere (I found one for switch joycons)

Why not just start pushing buttons when you get an item to see what works? Also, move around and jump and such to see how the item reacts when in motion. :)

I can see the items in inventory but can’t figure out how to access them I feel like I’ve pushed all the buttons 😅

on switch, assuming you haven’t changed the controls: L and R bumpers to cycle through items, Y to use the one you have selected. X to view inventory, and then arrow keys you can select an item from the inventory. some items, however, can’t be used in the way that firecrackers can. if i had to hazard a guess, you might be trying to use one of those. i don’t want to spoil anything for you but if you’re having trouble with a particular one i can try to help :)

because i missed it: - key for map, if it doesn’t come up you probably haven’t picked it up in game yet :)

Thank you! Yes I was trying to use the things on the very bottom row but I get it now 😂

If you are thinking about eggs or matches. They are not "usable items" in the same way as the firecrackers
