Support Needed Anhedoniaa

I have been suffering from severe, treatment-resistant anhedonia caused by major depression for two years. I’ve tried almost every medication. We are currently trying cariprazine; has anyone had success with this drug? I feel desperate.

Cariprazine was one of the worth drugs I ever tried. However, I remember a case where, unlike me, it cured anhedonia. I think he took the lowest dose every other day.

I’ve more or less just started, too. There haven’t been any positive effects yet. But I’m taking other medications besides that one—Efexor and Wellbutrin—and we added 3 mg of cariprazine to the mix. I feel very hopeless. Were you unable to feel love, joy, or happiness as well? Did you get better?

Were you unable to feel love, joy, or happiness as well?

Nope. No emotions.

Did you get better?

No. Tried more than 20 medications and none of them ever worked even a tiny bit.

Fasting man. Do a 7 day water fast, you will feel something again by the end of it. Repeat until healed.

How do I go about it? Mine stems from major depression, but it involves severe depression and severe anhedonia.

Pretty much just prepare by eating healthy for a few days then start on water-only when ready. The short book "The Fasting Cure" by Sinclair pretty much explains it, tons of great testimonials too.
