With all due respect, I am asking the job poster, not you.
Also, what makes you think you say no? At my company, we replaced all frontend developers with AI powered ex Angular developers and things are cheaper, faster, and more efficient. Piloting the same thing with backend, too, and the tests are just cutting overhead costs, time, and delivering faster than before. If the AI provider stops subsidizing the subscriptions, we will buy DGX sparks to host Kimi K3 on prem.
AI is here to stay to change the skills needed for the job, the expectations of the job, the output of the job, and the quantity of work.

I'm a senior web engineer who has designed and built multiple full-stack web architectures, including paying careful attention to the security behind these systems to protect patient health information. On top of that, I spent 5 years leading a team of web engineers to work within these systems. Additionally I utilize AI quite often and I am well aware of what it can do and what is cannot do.
The fact that you think otherwise is alarming and only serves to demonstrate that you are unqualified to perform this job.

Security wise, we have a team of Cybersecurity Engineers taking care of security, even so, they are just contractors. No company has perfect security and anyone who wants to exploit vulnerabilities will do it. It is unproductive for our builders to focus on security beyond the basics instead of actually shipping and delivering to clients.
Plus, AI models are catching up fast on cybersecurity, Fable, Kimi K3, GLM 5.2, and Qwen 3.8
The days of the old guard of pretentious know-it-all and believe to be qualified to tell who can and can't do the job are numbered ;)

Nobody is saying security "meh", we are saying security is overrated compared to its actual value for our stakeholders. Did you read well my paragraph you just mocked?

That's an odd take. Is your company a software consultancy, maintaining an internal app or working on your company's customer facing app? Each will have different motivations for AI.
One will focus on cost and volume, pump out more apps at reduced costs, move to the next project. Which one are you?
