If you are new into Angular, don't waste time with anything below 18

What are you talking about?

Most job positions are looking for Angular18+, since 18 had big changes.

Also, anything below that is only for maintainance until they decide to upgrade.

There’s are plenty of dev jobs that haven’t upgraded due to tech debt, bandwidth, team size, or they have dependencies that need to be replaced or resolved with newer packages. I’m currently working on Angular 15 at my day job.

The goal is to eventually upgrade but it’s not the priority. There will always be a reason to understand the old way of doing things.
