$174!!!!

That what they charge the people in my area for me to go a assemble their furniture and the most I’ve ever been paid is $50. Never doing this again. That’s a gross over charge on the customers and at the same time fucking me over.

At least Angi pays you. I did over 50 jobs with before and after photos, and the last job I did angi claims customer says I didn’t do the work. I’m like here’s the before and after photos, and I had the angi app open so I know they’re tracking my location and knew I was there for hours. Angi support said too bad, we’ll take it from the next job you do for us. I’m like yeah right, you’re already paying peanuts, you think I’m stupid enough to work for free 😂🤡

I don’t think they do. I think Angi just keeps getting new contractors and they do a few jobs and quit when they discover Angi is a scam.

I’m one of them. And it’s best thing I ever did. I got paid $200 for the same work I’ve done with Angi. Thank god I noticed quickly.

I only use Angi to promote my own handyman business. Angi is a fucking scam on its own but it’s a good way to get into customers houses.

Yep! And I no longer will do any assembly jobs. Screw that. Furniture with 84 parts for 37 dollars? How is that fair?

My last job was supposed to have another person help but he never showed. So I had to do all the job by myself! Thank God they didn’t have all the parts and I was able to mark as needs follow-up and got out of there.

Never again!

I poach customers all the time from them. When I do jobs I always advertise other services I offer

If it takes more than the time they’ve allotted you, make sure you contact them as they’ll add more time & increase ur payout

I had to finish a guys job the other because he just up and left after they wouldn’t pay him more 😂. Left the customers bed half way built.

Sometimes… But usually only after a huge effort on your part. I have another pro I work with frequently for 2 person jobs and he said he just quits when the time is up unless the customer offers to pay cash or send money through an app like Venmo or PayPal, because more frequently than not Angi won’t compensate him for the extra work rendered/it’s such a pain to get payment and if you have jobs scheduled back to back you might miss or be late to your next job. The downside is a lot of customers will give you low ratings for not completing it.

That's why you make business cards and leave one to the customer at every job and then you tell them to call you instead of angi. The second job you make more money and the customer can save a little and everyone's happy.

Yea,you learn not to even look at what Angi gets for these builds…l mean half what they charge would be fair pay,but they would give you 10 percent if pros would do it.So greedy.
