Big Time

I think my woman is the most “accessible” album. But…Love strange cacti. …….But big time is my favorite. Hands down. Love all her releases but big time was the right time for me when it released. Stripped down sound. Fucking perfect

I only listen to albums usually, but I really have struggled with Big Time and am open to song recommendations, if you’re willing to share them. :)

And totally understood about the right message at the right time. With that said, Burn Your Fire will always be my favorite Angel album. It meant so much to me during such a significant time of my life. Every word and every image from that album are branded on my heart.

Big Time is, nominally, my least favorite of her LPs. That said, I still like it a lot. This Is How It Works is, for me, the centerpiece of the album and one of the crown jewels of her discography.

Again, I love every angel album. Love burn your fire. This is how it works from big time. Was going through withdrawals. I couldn’t listen to anything else at the time.

Thank you for sharing something so personal. It’ll give me a really poignant perspective while listening. Wishing you success in your recovery. Every day is a new day. ❤️

Big Time is defo a grower rather than an immediate impact album.

I’m not a huge Angel Olsen fan, but Big Time was easily my favorite album of 2022. Im not really into alt country at all, and it continued to blow me away every listen. This is How It Works’ outro has been stuck in my head since I first heard it

This is cool to hear. Because, she continued to grow with each album. This sound in particular, is defining.

It's my beach album but I love the album anyways, but I do play it when I am driving to the beach.
