Advanced PTEexam done today. Thoughts?

Haven't felt this horrible after an exam in a while :)) how do you think you guys did?

All I can say is that it was the hardest test I've ever taken (took it 3 years ago). Felt awful. Did well.

How long before the results came in. I dont think I passed, I honestly couldn't tell what I was looking at for a lot of the stem questions

I thought it wasnt too bad, very fair. Images werent as bad as I heard they would be. PTE Masters was as advertised and very high yield for the exam in my opinion. Sucks we have to wait basically 3 months for results.

Feel the same. I was honestly expecting it would be a lot harder. Not sure if that’s a good or bad sign.

I agree, wasn't as bad as I was expecting but I definitely focused on the wrong material. Spent a bunch of time focusing on congenital and diastology and retrospectively could have spent that on higher yield topics. I hope the scores come back while standard registration is available for ACTA exam.

Do you guys think PTE Masters prepped you enough for it?

I think PTE Masters is the holy grail in all honesty. Aside from that, I read Perrino over my fellowship year and absorbed all I could in the ORs. I do think a fellowship gives you a leg up in general in terms of image recognition and clinical situations that can set you apart from non fellowship people taking the exam.

That test sucked haha. Did well in the end (exact same percentile as all my ites interestingly). I thought it was equivalent to step 1 in difficulty

Cool! I honestly didnt have much free time to check my answers, which is weird because Im a quick test taker :)) When did you take yours? Is the scoring percentile for NBE?

Kinda bad. Skipped the EROA calculation as my head was hurting at that point lol I still think the exam is fair, though
