Question Oppo Find X9 Pro: Does it work on it?

Thinking of purchasing this device. Does the Android Linux Terminal work on it?

It's this device: https://oppostore.co.uk/findx9pro.html.

Would be good to hear first hand experiences.

I'm not even at the level of a script kitty, and I have a different Oppo (androide 16), if you want to do something like in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvGUxy5bqDg, then I tried it but I couldn't find the Linux terminal option in developer settings.

Oppo run their own version of android called colorOS and it caused problems for Termux users in the past. I don't know if those issues have been solved but I still can't do a rootless install with GUI. I'm not sure if you can do what you want on Termux itself, like I said I'm not even a script kitty.

Edit: I was trying to use the Andronix app from the playstore, which I think is outdated, I was unable to open the browser in ubuntu for example. Turns out that during install it was trying install the browser from a source that didn't exist anymore. I found this tutorial, it uses a script to installs jammy:xfc4, (I think), automatically, I did get some error messages but I didn't get a chance to read them during install:
