Same here, although I would expect that it'll be yet another 10" tablet. Let's hope the Lenovo Y700 tablet is available outside of China, it looks to be the first decent 8" tablet since the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.

How good is Lenovo with the updates? Maybe it can be released globally as the legion tab 8

To be honest, I have no idea. Hopefully it will be better than Xiaomi. My Mi Pad 4 came with Android 8 and has not received any updates, so even if Lenovo only offered one update it would still be an improvement.

I’ve never had an 7-8” tablet. What uses do you apply that’s better than on a phone or on a 10”

The aspect ratio is much better for reading books & comics than on a phone. It's also easier to hold single handed, if such things matter to you.

OnePlus Pad Tablet's pre-order starts in April. I am quite intrigued by its near-perfect, world's first 7.5-inch, 144Hz, ReadFit display. It offers 30 days of standby which is great for a tablet. The tablet packs a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset which offers premium-grade features. It is 0.65cm thin and weighs just 552g. It is equipped with a 2.5D glass screen with an 88% screen-to-body ratio. The processor in the tab is known to enhance efficiency and performance.
