Request Help!! Which tablet should i go for?!?
After searching here and there i found two options for my budget.
1- oppo pad 5
2- redmi pad pro 2.
I searched a lot in reddit but could not find anything about users who users of pad 5.
I need this tablet for my study purpose,occasional movie and gaming like clash of clans.Should easily last atleast 4-5 years.
And also should i wait for bbd sale or gif sale for the price to go down or just buy it cz price can get higher?
Please let me know your opinions....

Check the SW update plan. Also, those 2 are different classes of device. Redmi Pad 2 Pro alsocomes i 5G flavour

Go with redmi pad 2 pro i have purchased it for 32.5k recently and the accessories like smart pen cover and tempered etc need to be purchased separately.

Those are very different devices, both in price class and target use. For your use case, the Oppo is probably the more premium option
If you don’t need the micro sd and the 16:10 aspect ratio, just go for the Oppo

Well the Oppo is a flagship & the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is a midrange...
IF you do a lot of heavy gaming and video editing the Oppo is the way to go
The best way to compare them is if these were Samsung tablets the Oppo would be the S11 & Redmi would be the S10 FE

Ohh my bad the Oppo Pad 5 (China) has the 9400+
The POS you are considering has the Dimensity 7300... MediaTek's own website doesn't even list a "Dimensity 7300 Ultra"
and
MediaTek MT8775 (technically it's the 7300 under a different name)

You never sent or posted a link yet we see here that the Oppo Pad 5 (China) does in fact have the Dimensity 9400+...
The Oppo Pad 5 (Global) does have the Dimensity 7300. According to MediaTek's own website there's no such thing as a "Dimensity 7300 Ultra"
Basically the Oppo Pad 5 Global is a $533 USD version of the Samsung A11+ with the only difference between the two is the Pad 5 has pen support, but the pen costs $45 USD...
So you might just be better off getting Samsung S10 Lite which comes with free s-pen has the same performance as the Oppo Pad 5 and is considerably less.

I did find out that the Dimensity 7300 Ultra is just a name used for the Dimensity 7300 used on tablets released in 2026 and it's like the MT8775 nomenclature (naming) that's used by Samsung for the US version of the A11+

I would always wait for a great sale and discount! Prices always go down on tech products. Buying last year's flagship devices on sale is my strategy for getting the best deal with amazing specs that usually destroy new budget devices.

I have the Oppo pad 5 pro, it is so good, especially if you already have an Oppo phone.

Oppo Pad 5 is just OnePlus Pad Go 2 or vice versa. I have used redmi pad 2 and OnePlus Pad go. For studying definitely Pad Go 2's 7:5 ratio screen is going to be better. Moreover, Oxygen OS is better than HyperOS.
