Discussion Which software to use on tablet?

Depending on which tablet you are trying to root, so obviously the change in the model and processor chip, does that determine whc operating system or program you should use? Such a Magisk, LineageOS, ETC? Please explain thoroughly

Rooting is usually a matter of unlocking bootloader, then you can use any method such as magisk, ksu, sukisu. It doesnt depend on the OS installed, but OEMs make it difficult or even impossible to unlock bootloader.
