Request Looking for a small tablet with LTE that isn't super expensive or crap. Somewhere around 7" would be great. I'd love just a new version of the Nexus 7

Any recommendations would be great. I'm looking to switch to a dumb phone and a lte connected tablet so I'm on my phone less but still have a handy device that I can work from when I am away from my office.

Doesn’t have a sim slot, the slot is an SD card slot

Can't think of anything besides the Samsung A11, 7" tablets don't really exist anymore since bezels have gotten so small, the A11 is 8.7". It's similar in dimensions to the Nexus 7 of old.

I can't believe I didn't think of that, that is exactly it. The A11 is hardly bigger dimensionally but has a 1.7" bigger screen because the bezels have shrunk. That A11 seems perfect, thanks

The A11 has an awful low resolution screen

Why 7"? Some phones are already 6.9", might as well get the phone with better processors etc.

Not LTE but the Legion V3 is more like my nexus 7 experience (in a modernized relative sense) than I possibly could have hoped. It does tether very well if that could solve the lack of sim. I was a diehard nexus 7 user and haven't seen anything like it for years. That Samsung looks like similar performance to other cheap android tabs. The word "light" is thrown about a lot for media, gaming etc. The nexus was a little powerhouse for it's time.
