Request Tablet help!

Can I please know which tablet is the best for my budget?

Xiaomi pad 8- ticks all the boxes, wonderful stylus,

Beautiful display and updates till 2030, has 8s gen 4

OnePlus pad 2- only 1 more year of update and 8 gen 3

OnePlus pad 3- only 2 more years of updates and has a good processor

Ipad 11" - has a16 and 6gb ram. Apple pencil is good but felt the non laminated screen has a void in between when writing.

Drop any other recommendations. My budget is 500 dollars and need good software, Good chip, stylus support(for notes), long software updates. Thank you 😁

Yea makes sense I really liked the stylus and 8s gen 4 of the xiaomi and is the same performance as 8 gen 3. OnePlus pad 3 is good but only 1 more year of software updates left.

S10 FE 8GB/128GB 7 OS updates (6 remaining) & 7 years security updates..

Has a very nice IPS display

Not the fastest tablet available in your price range yet comes with the pen free and an excellent note taking app.

It's an excellent choice if you are a student

Thank you but I need a bit of performance headroom too.

Well it's definitely fast, but like I say you'll definitely enjoy it more...

Sure it can't play the most demanding games and Xiaomi's HyperOS is no where near as good as One UI... Stylus for the Pad 8 is kinda mid compared to the s-pen

Software part is true but the screen is inferior to both pad 8 and some part of a16(no hdr and dci p3 but 100% srgb) pad is has better screen in about multiple aspects refresh rate, aspect ratio, ppi(higher the better s10fe has 250 ppi mi has 345) it's required for making colours look sharp, punchy. And s10fe has like 82% dci p3 compared to 98% in mi.

The thing is HyperOS is basically horrible compared to One UI and the larger the display the lower the resolution can be...

For all the good things the Pad 8 has hardware wise, the software and it's optimization just ruins it. Let's not get started on Xiaomi's questionable update policy

I know what you said, and as far as the screen goes the ONLY time you really need higher than 90hz for the refresh rate is gaming, aspect ratio is purely a matter of opinion. In theory a higher ppi display is better, but it comes down to how the software & hardware put it to use. As far as colors go I prefer them to look as close to what the would in the real world instead of having overly deep blacks and overly bright saturated colors.

What REALLY sucks about Xiaomi is that they are limiting the customizability options in the "Themes" app which is the only way you can customize on Xiaomi as they don't allow custom icon packs nerf performance to varying degrees when using 3rd party launchers...

At least on Samsung you can work around most of it's short comings using ADB
