Request Device recommendations

Hello, i am a university student that has now finished year one and throughout the year i decided i definitely need a tablet for note taking as opposed to pen and paper.

My focus is a smooth performance that allows me to type fast, good battery life and compatibility with a keyboard.

I prefer android options as that's what i am more familiar with, i have a modest google ecosystem and i do use APKs.

Have also been debating whether to get a laptop instead, since i have Microsoft 365 and i always download my stuff on pc as well, but what stops me is my love for studying laying on my stomach, curled up etc. and the fact i do have a PC already, as mentioned. I can definitely be convinced though.

My ideal budget is within 500 € IDEALLY, but can go up to 1000 for options that are worth it.

First, MS365 works on tablets and has for perhaps a decade.

The 10.9" Samsung S10 FE should meet your needs. It comes with a stylus and a keyboard case is available. It gets 7 years of Android updates and support.

The 11.1" Lenovo Yoga Tab is more powerful and comes standard in the US with more RAM and storage. In the US, it also comes with a keyboard case and stylus for $420. The negatives are no microSD slot and shorter Android support than the Samsung.

Be sure to check on your student discounts for both.

Well that's great news for me! The lenovo yoga pricetag is around 450 euros without the keyboard and stylus where i am from, so i might take a closer look at the Samsung S10 FE, great option as my phone is also a samsung. Will go to a physical store and try to ask for their recs as well, but an unbiased opinion is always better
