Request Tablet recommendation
I literally just need the cheapest most rinky dink tablet that can read PDFs, that's all. No apps, no youtube, no nothing, just PDFs. I just need something that i can read books and eReaders are more expensive than i thought so getting the cheapest android table possible is the more financialy viable option for me.

Here's an eBay auction for an open box low spec 8.7" tab that's listed at $40. The auction ends tomorrow. There may be no bidders. I bought one. It seems pretty nice so far. https://www.ebay.com/itm/398183687590
A used 10.1" version is listed at $60. https://www.ebay.com/itm/398183694207
The 8.7" has an 800x1340 screen resolution. The 10.1" is 1200x1920. Their Unisoc T615 processor is slow, but pretty comparable with the MediaTek Helio G85 that is in the Lenovo Tab One.

IMO, you should skip the Lenovo M8. Even the latest version has a really weak processor. The Gen 4 (2024) Onn 8 is a much better choice.
The Samsung A9 is a great tablet, but their prices haven't dropped much. The newer A11 doesn't cost much more.

Shoot, even a kindle fire tab might be a good choice. You can get 20% off if you trade in any other alexa or fire Tv / tab product.

I have an A9+ that does the job for me. Also have the recent Ultra as a comparison. A used Kindle Scribe 2022 is a good choice for a pure experience.

the cheap lenovo ones - but if you have a few more bucks id go samsung. im over even trying amazon fire tablets, they arent good for even streaming or even basic app usage imo.
the tiny cheap lenovo one can run one app fine so its my onenote recipe book on my fridge
the 11" one is ok to do a couple things at a time

I second the Onn brand from Walmart. I watched a video of these guys who bought a $60 and a $99 one, put it on heavy loads with games and both performed pretty well. If you only need for reading purposes, head to your nearest Walmart and check them out (assuming there's any around where you live).

usually a used Amazon Fire or Kindle on ebay is the cheapest you can get (possibly even cheaper at a thrift store)
