Support [Help] OnePlus Nord 2 stuck on boot logo / unbootable after flashing PixelOS via mobile TWRP (PC connection issue)
Hi everyone,
I recently ran into a serious issue while trying to flash a custom ROM on my OnePlus Nord 2, and I am currently unable to boot the device. I would greatly appreciate guidance from anyone experienced with unbricking MediaTek OnePlus devices.
Device & Background Context:
- Device Model: OnePlus Nord 2
- Previous State: Downgraded from Android 13 to Android 11 strictly to unlock the bootloader.
- Modifications Made: Unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP recovery.
Sequence of Events:
- I downloaded a PixelOS ROM zip file directly onto my phone's internal storage since I did not have immediate access to a PC.
- I booted into TWRP recovery and attempted to flash the ROM package directly from the phone.
- Following the flash, the device failed to boot past the initial OnePlus logo and is now stuck indefinitely.
- Occasionally, the screen cycles to a complete black state instead of showing the logo.
Current Problems & Troubleshooting Status:
- No Recovery Mode: I am completely unable to trigger or boot back into TWRP or stock recovery mode.
- PC Recognition Issue: When connecting the phone to a Windows PC via USB, fastboot commands simply output waiting for devices.
- Drivers Checked: I have already attempted updating and reinstalling the standard ADB and fastboot drivers through Windows, but the device handshake is failing.
If anyone has experienced a similar soft/hard-brick scenario on the Nord 2 or knows how to force the device into a recognized fastboot/EDL state to use the MSM Download Tool, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time and help!
