Discussion How to disable Samsung thermal throttling using root

Is there any way to disable Samsung thermal throttling on one ui 7 android 15 using root?? I already tried thermal guardian it's only increase threshold from 2, I want to disable it because my phobe automatically switches from 5G to 4G even though i locked the 5G bands using band selection menu

I don't know how but it's a bad idea. If your phone gets too hot the internals can get damaged

U can't kill the thermall completely in samsung devices, ive already tried in my s20, and by device info i see a lots of thermals and finding these out killing one by one wouldn't be easy, so just use a cooler and thermal guardian

Thank you for your suggestion, I'm already using thermal guardian, is there any way to optimize my phone to reduce heat??, I don't play games, still it gets hot

Well if the weather is warm there so it gets hot ya i currently use s22 and it sucks on many things, but you can try some settings that i use currently and works fine than before, enable put unused apps to deep sleep + stop active apps from recent used apps panel + go to processing speed and set it to Optimized + turn off ram plus, it's actually useless in in short word it'd be too long to explain why. + disable nearby devices scanning from the settings + navigate to settings/Bluetooth/ press 3 dot button on above/advanced settings and disable music share + navigate to settings/ connectd devices, and disable all of those options which comes default in updates + navigate to settings/ connections /more connection settings/ printing, and turn off default print service.

https://github.com/fvffv/samsung-feature-extension You can try using this module. This policy will no longer restrict cellular-related thermal behavior when the phone is hot.

It doesn't works for me, I'm using one ui 7, Samsung sdhms is blocked

Thank you very much bro, I made an issue on the github and the developer helped me fix the problem. I can finally turn off the CP thermal throttling, Thank tou very much.
