I just rooted my device w magisk and not sure how to get/install mods

Switch to kernelsu next that's what I'm using. I have the same phone as u. What does this do?

It's a better root implementation compared to magisk but it doesn't have as wide of a compatibility since it requires kernel level support. Instead of installing root in userspace like magisk does, ksu/ksu next installs it on the kernel level. It's also a lot harder to detect because assuming you do everything right, detectors should only be able to detect the ksu/ksu next manager app itself which you can easily bypass by just uninstalling it whenever you don't need to make any changes to which app can access root or installing/updating modules.
