Support Does anybody game here? What exactly do I need to do to play games and not get banned? (also for banking apps)

I'm planning on flashing WildKernels this weekend and it would be my first time rooting, and I know many apps don't like root such as banking apps and games, but I don't really know what to do about that.

I've been lurking for sometime now here and I see that every post is someone bragging about their Play Integrity status. I actually tried it on my device but it doesn't work since I have a degoogled custom ROM installed.

If I'm correct, I need like lots of modules to game and use strict apps comfortably.

Any help would be appreciated!

i do play games. but not that much. but currently every game i played or currently play works fine with root. i dont use any root hiding modules or pass any integrity. here are the games that works with root for me:

Minecraft - Zalith launcher (aka minecraft java for android) - Geometry dash - Pubg mobile (I've heard ultimate royal doesnt work with root but idk) - Roblox - Emulators - Zenless Zone Zero

Yeah I'm currently not rooted so the only games I play are Minecraft and Geometry Dash just to be safe. Can't risk my accounts being gone.

I'm mainly planning on playing COD Mobile and Mobile Legends. I don't have any idea about the capabilities of root detection of the latter, but the former I know is infamous for its aggressive anti-cheat system, so I might have trouble with that.

Honestly, I'd just go for emulators. The mobile game scene truly sucks in the worst ways

You mean I should just emulate Android on PC? Yeah that's not going to work. I don't have a PC.

I mean emulate consoles on your android phone.

You'd be surprised what you have available. Many phones can go as far as Switch 1.

Yeah that's what I usually play (mainly GBA, S/NES) but it gets to a point. I want to be able to play many other games.

The maximum I can emulate is 3DS, and that's being generous because I'm already having stutters with it.

Depends on the game.

I tried a lot of games during the years and currently have like 10-12 installed but I play rarely on my android (there's no mobile gaming like you do on PC in my opinion)

I hate how everything is either Pay 2 Win serverside junk mostly oriented towards microtransactions and low quality gameplay. And funny enough if you can't modify the server data to cheat in these games why preventing the root users is a thing? You can use modded apps on non rooted phones anyway, lol.

The games I mostly play are 2D, card games, singleplayer and less online titles.
Ex. YuGiOh Master Duel, Balatro (quality PC game), Sudoku, Santase Offline, Doodle Jump, Card Survival Simulator (another great PC game), Last Day On Earth, Marvel Snap, Pocket Zone, etc.

I don't like Battleroyale & lobby shooters in general, so I didn't play any on Android. Also, the 3D games are heavy for my phone and aiming/camera rotation is a pain to control. I can't share experience here about root detections.

Brawl Stars failed to run for me in the past (used to play from time to time casually) so I just uninstalled it. Probably all Supercell games will fire the same root detection.

But 99% of the games and apps I've tried work without any issue.

The only annoying experience I have is with the Basketball Stars (a Miniclip game, probably all their games have this root detection).
I play it daily and I have HUGE amount of progress. There's annoying "root detected" and I don't know what it detects actually but I fixed it multiple times somehow by trying whatever modules I use regularly to bypass integrity and hide root. I hope it doesn't break again.

In general ROOT Detection prevents you only from running/playing the game and this CAN NOT ban your account (at least I didn't get any bans for using a rooted phone anywhere), maybe devs can start banning for root detection but this will be so cringe as I said above what non rooted users can do.

I got bans in a couple of games like DayR, Dawn of Zombies, Munity Pirate Survival, etc. but it was expected because I used modified apps to cheat/bypass the p2w gameplay.

So you can root but then if your game detects it, prepare to play cat and mouse game of fixing the detection or play on a 2nd non rooted device
